Currently Hiring:
Associate Structural Engineer I (3+ years experience and license)
- Perform calculations, develop loading requirements, & create accurate & concise drawings
- Communicate effectively & professionally with senior engineers & clients regarding status of new & ongoing projects
- Pay attention to client expectations & scope adjustments, work closely with senior engineers
- Perform research & conduct field investigations
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
- PE license & 3+ years of experience is required
- Preferred to have personal vehicle & the minimum required Oregon insurance for site visits
- Ability to generate creative solutions within existing limitations
- Balances team and individual responsibilities
- Contributes to positive team spirit
CONTROLLER
Since 2017, Sherri Mansur has served as the Controller for MCE. With over 20 years of experience in accounting and human resources, Sherri brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her role.
She is responsible for comprehensive money management and the implementation and enhancement of key internal financial controls. She provides strategic guidance on financial process improvements and data efficiency to the firm's leaders. Her responsibilities encompass managing accounts receivable and payable, general ledger maintenance, payroll, 401(k), and employee benefits.
Sherri is deeply committed to customer service, which she believes includes all stakeholders—clients, coworkers, business partners, and vendors. Her goal is to facilitate smooth operations and ensure that everyone’s experience with the firm is as efficient and pleasant as possible. Sherri's dedication to both the financial health of the firm and the well-being of its people makes her a valuable asset to our team and clients.
