Bull Mountain Trunk Improvements

MCE provided structural engineering services for the expansion design of this major sanitary sewer trunk to accommodate future residential growth. Improvements included 9,800 linear feet of sewer main; an above-grade structural drainage crossing; significant natural resource permitting; and coordination with multiple jurisdictions. At the 90% design stage, Clean Water Services identified an additional 1,000 linear feet of storm main that needed replacing, which paralleled a portion of the sewer trunk main. MCE assisted AKS Engineering in developing a design for replacement of the main and the project was substantially complete one month ahead of an ambitious two-year schedule, and $1 million under budget.
