Project Story

Portland Parks & Recreation hired MCE to review the current condition of the wooden canopy supporting beams at Director Park. This project required minimal impact to daily operations and a quick report turnaround in order to allow the City to consider their options based on the assessment provided by MCE. MCE was able to complete the condition assessment in one day with no impacts to the typical schedule of the business located under the canopy, and limited diversion of foot traffic in other areas.
