The Challenge

Miller Consulting Engineers provided structural engineering services for a new multi-level apartment complex integrated into an existing neighborhood. The building features post-tensioned concrete floor systems at all levels, with wood-framed non-load-bearing partitions and roof construction.

Our Response

To help address parking demands in the surrounding neighborhood, the project incorporates two levels of below-grade parking.

The Outcome

The combination of a multi-level residential structure, post-tensioned concrete construction, and below-grade parking required an integrated structural design tailored to the project’s urban setting.
