Miller Consulting Engineers worked with ACF West to design bridge abutments for a highway overpass, developing a cost-effective and constructible solution that met the project’s schedule and performance requirements.

 

To address the project’s cost and construction constraints, Miller designed the abutments using geotechnical fabric walls with wrapped soil, incorporating soil sourced directly from the site. This approach provided an efficient alternative while meeting the structural requirements of the bridge and supporting the project’s construction timeline.
