Project Story
MCE performed structural design and construction administration for the remodel and expansion of the existing Larkspur Senior Center in Central Oregon. The existing 14,100 square foot building was redesigned to provide additional fitness classes and the 35,600 square foot addition includes a warm water therapy pool, complete with a lazy river. The upper level of the new structure features a spacious fitness area with a walk/jog track around the perimeter. Large glass windows provide sweeping views of the Cascades to the west and the natatorium below.
