Project Story

Miller worked with the Hillsboro School District on improvements to three occupied middle schools, simultaneously. Evergreen, Poynter and Brown which impacted every square foot of all three schools. These projects were phased out over multiple summers, and included seismic, mechanical, roofing, safety and security upgrades, to create safer and more efficient learning environments.

Additionally, Evergreen Middle School received a significant addition and renovation, including expansion of the Media Center and Commons for an additional 200 students. The new space takes advantage of natural daylight and includes an exterior plaza and courtyard that encourages outdoor gathering for students to enjoy.
