- First Place for Private Buildings $15.1 million-$50 million, DJC Top Projects
- Oregon Parks & Recreation Association Maintenance and Operations Award for Energy Savings Design
As the structural Engineer of Record for this award-winning LEED-certified community center, MCE performed structural design and construction administration services for this multifaceted project that spanned over a three year period. MCE’s average response time to RFIs was 1 to 2 hours with a solution generated quickly, keeping the GC on schedule with no down time. This community center used many different types of construction materials such as wood, concrete, steel, and masonry (CMU) and consists of three different areas that are seismically isolated from one another, allowing them to move independently during a seismic event.
